How to judge the health status of dogs from their stools?

First of all, look at the color ~ ~ Healthy poop is brown. I prefer to say brown, but it is similar to people. Yellow is also healthier.

If there are other colors, say them one by one.

Red: First, let's see if it's caused by anal fissure. If not, it may be the dog's lower gastrointestinal bleeding. I also know that there will be bloody stools when I was young, and the baby died of this disease.

Green may be due to eating celery and cucumber, incomplete absorption, or high acidity in the intestine.

Gray, may be caused by jaundice or fruit, tumor, ascaris.

Bleeding of organs such as black, duodenum and small intestine may cause it.

The second is the shape. Healthy poop is generally cylindrical and can be picked up with paper towels. I usually say molding. If it is soft, muddy or tar-like, it is not normal. Of course, sometimes it may be softer or wetter. Doesn't mean the dog must be sick. It depends on the condition of the dog at that time.

According to my own experience, I have to smell it. Poop stinks, but it's different. You can't fight Your dog may smell like this every day. If it suddenly changes, you should pay attention. For example, the stool is thin, and you smell blood in the stool. It may be something wrong, tiny or something. . . My last dog was like this. Don't worry about not saying it. If there is a problem, it will be more obvious.

This is probably the case, and we can't generalize. Pet World magazine introduced it in detail in August 2008.
