The national blood donation award is based on the relevant provisions of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Blood Donation Law and the National Blood Donation Commendation and Award Measures.

Awards assessed by People's Republic of China (PRC) National Health and Wellness Commission, China Red Cross Society, Health Bureau of Logistics Support Department of Central Military Commission and China producers according to the recognition procedures and authority requirements are used to reward multiple unpaid blood donors.

The blood donation award is used to reward many blood donors, including the lifetime honor award (those who have won the blood donation award for 3 times or more;

Those who meet the requirements for the third gold medal declaration will be awarded the Lifetime Honor Award and Gold Medal), Gold Medal (those who have donated blood for more than 40 times), Silver Medal (those who have donated blood for more than 30 times but less than 40 times) and Bronze Medal (those who have donated blood for more than 20 times but less than 30 times).
