At the same time, if the vehicle is parked for too long, the engine temperature will not rise immediately after cold start.

Because the oil flows back to the bottom of the oil pan, especially in low temperature season, the engine liquidity is poor. If the oil and engine are not lubricated immediately, "dry grinding" will occur. At this stage, the cylinder wall of the engine has been basically worn. If the cylinder wall is excessively worn, the vehicle will have a serious oil burning problem and the power will be seriously reduced.

It may even be scrapped prematurely. Because the engine overhaul not only costs a lot of money, but also will be scrapped in a few years at most after tightening the cylinder and replacing the cylinder liner. The quality of all cylinder liners is not the level of the original car, so they are very wear-resistant. It can be seen that the basic components of turbocharged engines and naturally aspirated engines have not changed, and engines with the same displacement.

For example, 1.5L and 1.5T, with the letter L Atmospheric and the letter T Turbocharged. The output power of an engine with the same displacement should be increased by about 40%. Normal operation should wait until the tachometer reaches about 800 revolutions, because the turbine will not interfere at low speed, and the turbocharged engine is equivalent to a naturally aspirated engine and needs to be warmed up.

The specific preheating time can be seen at the bottom. It depends on the environment. When the ambient temperature is high, we usually turn on the ignition device to start, so that we can warm up the car while driving and avoid sudden acceleration. After the engine warms up for 20 seconds, shift gears and slow down. The gearbox also needs to be lubricated with oil.

Driving at a low speed for about 5 minutes, the gearbox will be full of parts that need lubrication, and the vehicle can run normally. Especially in cold weather, cars must be warmed up. Don't suddenly step on the accelerator after driving, drive at a low speed for a while, and then start driving normally. Developing good driving habits can prolong the service life of vehicles.

It should be noted that the turbine temperature is very high after long-term driving, and it is best to idle after stopping. Of course, the current car will automatically blow air to cool the turbine after the flameout. In addition, the current turbine technology is very good, in fact, the role will not be great. If the oil pressure is enough, the turbocharger will not break down so easily.

Hot cars in life don't need to idle for ten or twenty minutes. Depending on the local temperature, the seat belt will be idle for a few seconds or minutes. In winter, you need the original factory floor heating for 5 minutes, so you don't have to step on the accelerator and wait for the speed. After the warm-up instructions are finished, turn off the engine and start it again.
