Is pure water healthy? So how many conditions does healthy water meet?

Pure water ≠ healthy water?

Pure water is made from tap water or rivers and lakes through ion exchange, electrodialysis, reverse osmosis and distillation. After treatment, bacteria and other pollutants in the water are removed, as well as essential minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, strontium and zinc.

The purified water thus obtained has a strong ability to dissolve minerals and trace elements. After people drink a lot of pure water, the original trace elements and nutrients in the body will quickly dissolve in the pure water and then be excreted, which will make the nutrients in the human body lose balance and lead to health deficit, which is not conducive to health.

Professor Li Fuxing, director of the Professional Committee of Healthy Drinking Water of the International Exchange Promotion Association of Chinese Medical Association, is one of the earliest water nutrition experts who advocate healthy water in China. He said that it has been proved that there are nearly 10 kinds of trace elements necessary for human body in water. As far as the current dietary structure in China is concerned, many trace elements are difficult to obtain from food, mainly from water. 30% of children's calcium needs come from water, and the absorption rate of calcium in water can reach over 90%, but only 30% in food. Natural mineral water is unpolluted groundwater that gushes naturally from deep underground or is exposed artificially. It contains a certain amount of minerals, trace elements or carbon dioxide gas, and the water quality boundary index meets the national standards.

Compared with pure water, mineral water is rich in potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and strontium. Mineral water is naturally formed and is an ideal natural green food. Some minerals and trace elements needed by human body are in the same proportion in mineral water as human body, and are in ionic state, so they are easily absorbed by human body. Therefore, drinking mineral water is the best choice. Nowadays, many countries in Europe stipulate that pure water cannot be directly used as drinking water.

It is particularly noteworthy that the elderly and children should not drink pure water for a long time.
