Shenzhen primary and secondary schools will start mental health education week.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health, more than 22% of primary and secondary school students in China have different degrees of psychological barriers, while about 35% of middle school students have psychological abnormalities. Such shocking figures make the education department pay more attention to students' mental health. The reporter learned from Shenzhen Education Bureau that from April 13 to April 17, Shenzhen will launch the "Mental Health Education Activity Week" for primary and secondary schools. In this week, the city's primary and secondary schools will publicize mental health education through various activities, making mental health education the norm.

The activity week will actively organize and carry out in-depth mental health education activities through psychological counseling, mental health education activity classes, class teacher's work and subject infiltration, as well as student associations, campus cultural and social practice activities, and online platforms. The main contents are summarized as "six ones", namely: a theme class meeting, a student club activity, a psychological expansion activity, a creative competition activity, a psychological drama exhibition and a parent-child exchange. After the activity, the Municipal Education Bureau will organize the selection of campus psychological dramas for primary and secondary school students to commend outstanding works and individuals.
