Yinzhou is a municipal district of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, and is one of its core urban areas. It is located in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta, in the east of Zhejiang Province, along the central coast of Ningbo City, with Haishu District in the west, Jiangbei District and zhenhai district in the north, Beilun District in the northeast, Fenghua District in the south and Xiangshan County across Xiangshan Port in the southeast.
Yinzhou District was originally Yinxian County. In February 2002, Yinxian County was revoked and Yinzhou District of Ningbo City was established. From 2065438 to September 2006, the area west of Fenghua River was transferred to Haishu District, and the area east merged with the former jiangdong district to form a new Yinzhou District.
Yinzhou District has a long history. As early as the Neolithic matriarchal clan commune, primitive people lived in the territory. 1973 The original commune site was discovered in Lujiaqiao, Sanlian Village, Sanjiao Township, with a history of 5,000 years, and its cultural age is equivalent to the second floor of Hemudu Culture. At the end of primitive society, at the latest in early summer, "Yin" has become a definite place name, and Yin is composed of the words "purple" and "city".
Since 20 19, it has successively become the fourth place in the list of the top 100 regions with comprehensive strength in China, and was selected as the top 100 regions with investment potential in 20 19, the top 100 regions with green development in 20 19, and the national scientific and technological innovation region in 20 19.
