Zhengzhou Health Vocational College is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by China People's and Ministry of Education. It is a training base for nursing shortage talents of the Ministry of Education and a characteristic college of vocational education in Henan Province.
The school was founded in 195 1, formerly known as Jiaozuo Health School in Pingyuan Province. Later it was renamed, relocated and expanded several times. After Zhengzhou Medical College and Zhengzhou Health School, Zhengzhou Health Vocational College was established with the approval of Henan Provincial People's Government on 20 18.
By April of 20021year, the school covers an area of 623.7 mu, with a planned construction area of 275,000 square meters. There are three teaching departments and four teaching departments, offering 14 majors, with more than 7,000 students and 300 faculty members.
