Bible study today: John 5: 19-29

Can search Tang Chongrong pastor John 38 sermons.

My notes:

John 5: 19 Jesus said to them, truly, truly, I say to you, the son can do nothing by himself but see what the father does. What father does, son does. John 5:20 A father loves his son and shows him everything he has done. I will show him greater things than these, so that you may marvel. John 5:2 1 As the Father revives the dead and brings them back to life, so the Son revives people as he wills. John 5:22 The father does not judge, but gives all the judgment to the son. John 5:23 That all men may respect the Son as they respect the Father. He who does not respect the son does not respect the father who sent him. John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my words and believes in him who sent me has eternal life, and has not been condemned, but has passed from death to life. John 5:25 Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and now it is, and the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God. Those who hear will live. John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he gives life to the Son. John 5:27 Because he is the Son of Man, he is given the authority to judge. John 5:28 Don't be surprised. It's time for the people in the grave to come out when they hear his voice. John 5:29 He who does good will have children when he is resurrected. When the evildoers are resurrected, they will be condemned.

What is the channel? I listen to the channel. Why do I have to tell you this so hard is to continue to build your belief, the whole framework of truth and the whole belief system of truth, so that "because you are willing to listen" will be built on you. Amen! Thank God, many priests today do not pay attention to preaching, nor do they pay attention to systematically building believers' beliefs. Today, many Sunday worship sermons last less than 20 to 30 minutes, while 20 to 30 minutes of church curtain-building, many plans and people's problems are deducted for 7 to 8 minutes, and the real component is less than 10 minutes. As a result, if you listen to the sermon for more than 10 minutes a week, you won't hear it for 500 minutes a year. How to establish the truth? Please have pity on us. Jesus emphasizes here that those who listen to my words and believe, if you have faith because of hearing the word, you will have eternal life in you, and then you will not be condemned. What do you mean? When I judge the whole world, you people with faith are not in the scope of judgment. What do you mean? Save us from trial. What can save us? How can we have a new life and free us from condemnation with a new life? Because listening to the word generates confidence, you get eternal life. Thank god.

This is consistent with the last sentence of Hebrews chapter 9. Let's look at the Bible in this section. In the last paragraph of Hebrews 9, let's read verse 27 first, and then read on and finish it. According to destiny, everyone will die and there will be a trial after death. In this way, since Christ was sacrificed once and bore the sins of many people, he will appear to those who are waiting for him for the second time, not because of sin, but to save them. (Come to 27-28) Amen! What do you mean? You believe in the Lord, you believe in Jesus Christ and accept his redemption, so you no longer need to be condemned or judged. When Jesus comes again, those who believe in him will be exempt from judgment, because they will no longer be condemned. Besides, why did Christ come to condemn others and save believers? Why? The ultimate salvation comes to believers, non-believers-the ultimate judgment, believers-the ultimate salvation. What do you mean by ultimate salvation? It turns out that our salvation is divided into three parts What's the first one? This is the salvation of the soul. Everyone says: the redemption of the soul. What time? When you repent and believe in the Lord and are born again, is your soul saved? Saved. Second, life is victorious. After you are saved, the salvation of the Lord comes to you, giving you strength every day, and continuing to thirst for truth and listen to God's word, so that God's word can be the driving force of your life and make you holy. Therefore, when you are saved, your soul is saved, and after being saved, your life will win. Third, when Jesus comes again, the third step-the body is redeemed. Then redemption is complete. When Jesus comes again, he will come to condemn, to judge the whole world, and to make the final redemption. Our bodies have changed from perishable to immortal, from earth to heaven, from temporary to eternal, from weakness to strength, from humiliation to glory. These five changes are the final salvation that Christ will give us again. Where did you say it was written? In the last paragraph of Chapter 15 of 1 Corinthians, it is recorded that the end will blow, the dead will be raised, the living will change, and our bodies will change from the earth to the sky, from material to spirit, from weakness to strength, from perishable to immortal, and from humiliation to glory. Thank god! ? Because when Christ comes again, he will not come to condemn us, but to complete the redemption that has come to us. The third step is fulfilled, and we are completely blessed and completely saved. Save the first soul again, win the second life and save the third body. Is your body redeemed now? Not yet. Do I have to redeem it? No. Where is my body redeemed? If I want to redeem it, I won't have to fly. I haven't been redeemed, so I still feel pain here and there, sick here and weak there, just because my body has not been redeemed. Is the soul saved? The soul was saved, but the body was saved? Not yet. The past has been completed, and the future has not been realized. What are you doing now? Live a victorious life, so rely on the Lord every day. Satan pulls us down, the Holy Spirit pulls us back, Satan seduces us, and the Holy Spirit moves us. The struggle between lust and the holy spirit, and the struggle between the holy spirit and lust make it impossible for us to follow our inclinations. When you want to commit a crime, the Holy Spirit pulls you, so you can't commit a crime. When you want to love the Lord, lust pulls you, so you can't love the Lord. So Christians can't do anything, do well, do badly, and die? But I want to tell you that you must obey the Holy Spirit. Obedience to the Holy Spirit means life safety, and obedience to the flesh means crime and death. Please have pity on us. Let's call it a day. Are there any more next week? Let's continue to talk about how the son of Christ used God's power to do God's work on earth.
