Gu***'s Common Room: a very large ethereal, round room, with elegant arched windows in the walls, hung with blue and bronze silks. The ceiling is a dome, adorned with stars, and the dark blue carpet below is adorned with stars. The room has tables, chairs, bookshelves, and a white marble bust of Rowena Ravenclaw in a niche opposite the door. A door next to the statue leads to the dormitories above.

Founder's relic: the Crown of Ravenclaw (which makes one wise, but was made into a Horcrux by Voldemort, and was destroyed in the seventh Deathly Hallows in the Room of Requirement by a stern fire set by Crabbe).

Academy Purpose: Wise, fair, shrewd, erudite, intelligent, visionary, and curious, too, and love to dig into things.
Royner Ravenclaw believes that "the students we teach, their intellect must be superior." Ravenclaw represents the wind, and the eagle, the House's representative animal, is a symbol of the wind.
Hermione and Ron had said before the house split, "It wouldn't be so bad to be sorted into Ravenclaw."
