81 Zheng He, Type 679 Naval Training Ship, designed by the 708th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), the construction contract was officially signed between Shanghai Seeking New Shipyard and the Navy on July 6, 1985, and launched on July 12, 1986, and completed and handed over to the ship on December 30 of the same year after dock test and navigation test, and was delivered to the Navy in April 1987, and was under the jurisdiction of the Dalian Shipbuilding Academy.
