China Electric Apparatus Scientific Research Institute (formerly Guangzhou Electric Apparatus Scientific Research Institute) was founded in 1958, subordinate to China National Machinery Industry Corporation (formerly Ministry of Machinery Industry), is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive national research institute. It is a multidisciplinary and comprehensive national research institute. CESRI has three major business sectors, namely, technology development, technical service and high-tech products, which are located in Guangzhou Center, Guangzhou Science City and Huadu Prime Industrial Park respectively. Among them, the science and technology development section includes the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Adaptability of Industrial Products, the Central Research Institute, the Key Laboratory of New Type Coatings Development in Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Provincial Daily-use Electrical Appliances Public **** Laboratory and Postdoctoral Scientific and Technological Workstations and other key laboratories at the national, provincial and municipal levels. The technical service sector includes Guangzhou Wei Kai Testing Technology Research Institute, National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Household Electrical Appliances, National Material Environmental Corrosion Test Center, the Third Measurement Center of Machinery Industry, National Productivity Promotion Center for Industrial and Household Electrical Appliances and other national centers, which rank the first in scale in the domestic testing industry; the high-tech industry sector refers to the Guangzhou KINGSKY Industrial Co.
