Department of Civil Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering offers four higher vocational majors (Architectural Engineering Technology, Engineering Supervision, Architectural Decoration Engineering Technology, and Road, Bridge and Bridge Engineering Technology), of which Architectural Engineering Technology is a specialty of the autonomous region. The department consists of teaching and research office of construction engineering technology, teaching and research office of construction supervision, teaching and research office of construction decoration engineering technology, teaching and research office of road and bridge engineering technology, student management office and professional training room, with on-campus practical training site of 2262m2, (nearly 6 million investment in practical training equipment). There are 20 off-campus training bases. Over the years, it has trained nearly ten thousand qualified technical talents in construction.
The Department of Civil Engineering*** has 40 teachers, including 10 associate professors, 7 senior lecturers, 16 lecturers and 7 assistant professors. There are 1 registered architect at national level, 1 registered structural engineer, 1 registered architect at second level, 4 registered supervision engineers, 2 registered construction engineers, 1 registered cost engineer, 1 registered real estate engineer, 2 registered consultants, 3 engineers, 11 technicians, 14 senior workers, 10 intermediate workers, and 3 examiners. Dual-teacher teachers account for 83%, and the age structure of teachers is reasonable.
The Department of Civil Engineering promotes teaching with scientific research and emphasizes the transformation of scientific research results. It has completed three provincial and ministerial-level projects, 12 college-level projects, two autonomous region quality courses, two provincial and ministerial-level quality courses. Won four provincial and ministerial-level scientific research achievement awards, the second prize of the autonomous region's teaching achievements, 21 hospital-level teaching achievement awards, published 57 provincial and ministerial-level academic papers, 21 courses to achieve multimedia teaching. Department of Urban Construction Engineering
The Department of Urban Construction now has 18 teachers, including 5 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer, 8 lecturers, 3 assistant lecturers, 5 master's degree holders, 13 dual-teacher teachers, 4 members of the autonomous region's expert pool, 3 senior vocational skills examiners, 1 intermediate examiner.
The Department of Urban Construction has three teaching and research laboratories. It has a multimedia room for 40 people to carry out computer CAD teaching and professional software application, three multimedia classrooms, and a special art studio for art classes, and the above teaching facilities can basically meet the needs of teaching.
The Department of Urban Construction now has more than 500 students, specializing in the major construction areas of urban construction, graduates of the employment units are mainly oriented to the municipal construction and maintenance, the Construction Department, the Urban Development Bureau, the Construction Bureau, the Planning Bureau (Institute), the City Supervision and Management Department, the Environmental Protection Bureau, the Sewage Treatment Plant, the Landscape Architecture Bureau, and so on.
The department in the long-term process of schooling, has always attached importance to the cultivation of students' skills, students in the completion of the school, not only to obtain academic certificates, but also to obtain the vocational qualification certificates of the relevant positions in the various professions. Over the past few years, the department has increased the construction of training bases, and has established long-term cooperative relations with Xinjiang Construction Planning and Design Institute, municipal companies, Huijing Landscape Architecture Firm, Xinjiang Green Friends Landscape Architecture Company, Changji Jinda Municipal Company, Urumqi City Wastewater Treatment Plant and other units to satisfy the needs of planning, municipal, architectural, landscape architecture, environment and other specialized areas of practical training teaching, and to create a good internship for the various professions of students. Training base for the top internship for students of various majors, really realize the zero-distance employment, so that the employment rate in these years has reached more than 95%. Department of Computer Information Engineering
The Department of Computer Information Engineering includes computer information management, architectural design and art (direction of architectural animation), and game design and production.
The main courses include Programming (C Programming, VBASIC Programming), Electrical and Electronic Training, Data Structure, Computer Network Technology and Application, Web Information Development and Application, Computer Aided Design (AUTOCAD), Management Information System, Computer Information Security Technology Application, Web Page Creation, Multimedia Technology, Practical Skills in Database (SQL Serve 2000), and Computer Information Management. SQL Serve 2000), network and integrated wiring, database principles and programming (VF), commonly used tools and software, computer assembly and maintenance, graphic image processing, operating system (WindowsXP/2000 Server or Linux), e-commerce, marketing, workplace practice.
Department of Economics and Management Engineering
The Department of Economics and Management Engineering is one of the main teaching departments of the college, offering four senior majors and two intermediate majors. The department's advantages: strong faculty, a high ratio of "double teacher" teachers in the whole college, experienced teachers, and a reasonable teacher structure. Adoption of "zero distance" teaching mode, high employment rate of graduates.
Twenty full-time teachers (6 graduate students, of which 2 are studying), including 8 associate professors, 4 senior lecturers, 6 lecturers, 2 assistant lecturers. Dual-teacher teachers accounted for 83% of the number of teachers in the department. There are also 8 part-time experts from enterprises, of which 6 are registered cost engineers, 2 are registered supervision engineers, and 5 are senior engineers from enterprises. The academic qualifications, titles, ages and professional structures of the teachers of the Department of Economics and Management are in full compliance with the requirements stipulated in the "Standards for the Establishment of Higher Vocational Schools (Provisional)".
Specialties: four specialties are offered at the higher vocational college level, namely, construction costing, construction project management (project management), asset evaluation and management, and property management. Two specialties are offered at the junior college level: construction project costing and accounting. In the future, the school plans to expand its specialties in a wide range of fields, including insurance, investment, tourism, trade, marketing, etc., and will conduct various management-related trainings.

Department of Facilities Engineering
Modern buildings require a comfortable internal environment in addition to a novel and beautiful appearance. The general concern of human beings about the global ecological problems and the rapid development of the technology of living environment have given new connotations to the specialties of the Department of Construction Equipment Engineering, making it rapidly become a sunrise specialty. The Department of Equipment Engineering is one of the backbone professional departments of Xinjiang Construction Vocational and Technical College. With rich teaching experience and perfect practical training facilities, there are 22 full-time and part-time teachers, including 9 postgraduates; 9 senior titles; 3 members of the Steering Committee for Higher Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education; 6 experts in bid evaluation for construction projects in the autonomous region; the proportion of "dual-teacher" teachers among the professional teachers has reached 90%. Teachers have written more than 20 teaching materials of all kinds, and have undertaken provincial and ministerial-level and institute-level scientific research projects for many times, with strong teaching and research and scientific research strength. 2008 "building water supply and drainage system installation" class declared for the autonomous region-level high-quality courses, and in December of the same year, the construction equipment engineering technology specialty was listed as the college's focus on the construction of the specialty.
