From Jan. 23 to Oct. 10, 2010, Wuchang District issued an emergency notice to implement an appointment system for fever patients' clinics with immediate effect. At the same time, the organization's grid clerks made door-to-door visits to residents in the district to advise them not to leave Han and reduce travel.
Wuhan Construction Group was given the task of setting up emergency isolation zones for fever clinics in four of the seven hospitals (-- Wuhan Four Hospital, Five Hospitals, Nine Hospitals and Wuchang Hospital) to treat fever patients nearby. Only Hankou Hospital, Jinyintan Hospital and Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital are currently able to diagnose the new coronavirus.

At the same time, the city's general hospitals above the second level still have to set up fever outpatient clinics, to carry out pre-screening triage and diagnosis and treatment of ordinary fever patients, and actively guide fever patients with respiratory symptoms to the city's designated hospitals for fever patients. It is expected that the tension of fever patients will be eased.
At present, Wuhan has adopted a "7 to 7" guarantee system. That is to say, in order to strengthen the medical service capacity of the seven fever patients designated hospitals in the city to select a strong comprehensive strength of the department, the provincial and municipal hospitals (Tongji Hospital, Union Hospital, Provincial People's Hospital, Wuda Zhongnan Hospital, a hospital, the Central Hospital, the three hospitals) to the seven fever patients designated hospitals to carry out counterpart support. The president of the hospital in charge of the support hospital is also the president of the counterpart fixed-point diagnosis and treatment hospital, is responsible for the fixed-point diagnosis and treatment hospital personnel, financial and material management, coordinates the distribution of resources between the two sides of the hospital, and makes every effort to treat patients, and the existing personnel affiliation and administrative level remain unchanged. The medical staff of the designated hospitals are all transferred to the diagnosis and treatment of febrile patients, and when the strength is insufficient, they are deployed by the supporting hospitals to fill them up.
Some local observers say Wuhan is doing its best to prevent and control the outbreak. But given the suddenness and significance of the outbreak, and given the lack of medical resources and supplies in reserve, it is equally important to get more support from the outside world.
010-10, Wuhan Municipal Health Commission released a list of 61 fever outpatient medical institutions and designated medical institutions. All 61 fever outpatient medical institutions shall not close the fever clinic for any reason, and shall continue to carry out the pre-screening triage and treatment of ordinary fever patients.
