Obviously you can see it (don't dilute the blood), I've done blood typing tests. But the real test is still to use a microscope to see, after all, the matter is very important. There are many types of blood group classification, the common ones are ABO and RH. Both types are matched during transfusion. Many people only focus on the ABO method, which is not correct, ABO is the same if the RH blood type is different, it will still cause coagulation. By the way, 99% of people in China are RH-positive, if you are RH-negative you must explain to your doctor.
Supplement: I have not heard that you can detect the blood type with special paper. Drops of blood on a slide, two drops of blood together or blood mixed with antigen can be seen under a general light microscope.
