What's the difference between medical pure water and ultrapure water?

Medical pure water and ultra-pure water are two different water qualities.

Medical pure water refers to water used in medical and biological research fields after special treatment. It must undergo strict filtration and disinfection to eliminate impurities, bacteria and viruses. Generally, ion exchange resin, activated carbon, microporous filter and ultraviolet lamp are used for treatment.

Ultra-pure water refers to water with the least impurities after strict filtration and disinfection. Mainly used in industrial production, especially in the fields of semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and chemical research. Reverse osmosis, ion exchange resin, activated carbon and microporous filter are usually used for treatment.

Therefore, the quality of medical pure water is higher than ultra-pure water, which is more suitable for medical and biological research. But ultra-pure water also has its unique advantages, such as providing better accuracy and reliability when used in industrial production.
