Article 14.1.2 prohibits metal piping by the counterparts welded; galvanized steel pipe and wall thickness of 2 mm or less steel pipe shall not be welded with casing. Article 14.1.1.2 stipulates that when galvanized conduit is threaded, special fixing clips are used at both ends of the joint to bridge the ground wire.
Based on the code, it can be determined that: when galvanized steel conduit is electrically dark, it is preferable to connect it with threads;
Galvanized conduit with a wall thickness of more than 2 mm may be welded with a casing when electrically dark;
When electrically dark, galvanized conduit with a wall thickness of less than 2 mm shall not be welded with a casing. Responsible to the general manager.

The welding of high temperature casing for power plants is generally done by argon arc welding for the bottom, electric welding for the filler and the cover, and it is required to bevel and root weld through.
I don't know whether the said casing is used for high-temperature, high-pressure pipelines or vessels, or corrosion-resistant media or reinforcement.
