Peking University Stomatological Hospital is a national key stomatological institution, which implements the management system of trinity of School of Stomatology, Stomatological Hospital and Institute of Stomatology. Its aim is to cultivate higher stomatological talents, popularize and improve the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, and undertake relevant scientific research projects at the national level, as well as those of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health.

The hospital is located in the scenic Zhongguancun Hi-Tech Park, covering an area of 35,400 square meters, with modern and advanced equipments, providing excellent conditions and environment for accomplishing the four basic tasks of medical treatment, teaching, research and prevention. The hospital has many famous stomatologists at home and abroad, and has trained a large number of undergraduates, masters, doctoral students, post-doctoral students as well as domestic and foreign students, etc. In 1984, the college trained the first doctor of medicine in China, and the first batch of doctor of clinical medicine in China in 1988.
