The College of Computer Science and Information Engineering has three professional groups of computer application, computer network and software technology, covering six specialties: computer application technology, computer network technology (network engineering, network security, network management), software technology, graphic image production, computer information management, information security technology. These experimental training equipment and instruments create good conditions for students' skill training.

Some Teaching and Research Achievements

(1) The high level and responsible teachers, together with the excellent teaching hard and software facilities, provide a good learning platform for students. All the students of 2011 grade in our department participated in the skill certificate examination organized by Huainan City Skill Appraisal Center in April 2013, and the passing rate reached 100%; and nearly 15% of the students obtained the double certificate of chemical general control worker and chemical inspection worker intermediate worker, and about 10% of the students obtained the double certificate of chemical inspection worker intermediate and senior worker, this promising phenomenon not only truly reflects the teaching level of our department, but also provides a platform for the future development of our students. According to the needs of professional teaching experimental practical training, the college in 2006 established a CNC technology training center, automotive testing and maintenance training center and other on-campus training bases. CNC technology training center is equipped with dozens of ordinary machine tools, CNC machine tools and machining centers, additional CNC boring and milling machines, gantry planer and other large equipment, complete supporting facilities, training and processing production capacity of the province's leading position in colleges and universities. CNC technology training center was approved as the provincial model training (experimental) center in Anhui Province. The college accepts the Dutch EVD Aid for Asia project, and cooperates with the Dutch ROC (Vocational Education Center) to ****build an internationalized high-tech CNC technology training base. Eight CNC machining centers, two CNC lathes and automotive automatic inspection lines were introduced from Europe. Relying on the platform of the same-city research association, the teaching, practice and scientific research of ideological and political theory courses in our university have gained great progress, creating favorable conditions for the development of ideological and political education activities for college students. All the teachers of the Department of Civics are further promoting the curriculum construction of ideological and political theory courses, giving full play to the leading role of teachers, deepening the reform of classroom teaching, refining the design of teaching links, and increasing the construction of the faculty, in an effort to make the Civics course a course that college students sincerely love, and which they can benefit from for the rest of their lives and throughout their lives. We strive to build the Department of Civics into a teaching team and learning team through the construction of three to five years, so that the Department of Civics can become one of the teaching units of the whole university with stronger faculty, higher teaching level and stronger scientific research strength. The Department of Physical Education has 17 staff members, including 1 director, 1 teaching secretary, 16 teachers and 1 teaching assistant; among the teachers, 5 are associate professors, 8 are lecturers and 4 are teaching assistants; there are 2 postgraduates in the course of study, 10 second-level referees and 3 first-level referees. School sports is an important part of school education, physical education is an indispensable part of the school curriculum system and is loved by the majority of students. The teaching aim of the physical education department of our school is "educating people first, health first, comprehensive development and serving the society". There are two times the department of physical education has won the provincial commendation; our university student sports team in Hefei area colleges and universities, the province's universities and colleges and universities across the country in all kinds of sports competitions, there are 29 times to win the collective or individual championship. In the CUBA College Basketball League, our school athletes took the first and third place. In recent years, the teachers of the Department of Physical Education have published more than 20 teaching and research papers in national public academic journals.
