Tianjin First Central Hospital is a comprehensive Grade 3A hospital featuring organ transplantation, emergency medicine, ear, nose and throat specialties, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention, and is one of the medical centers in Tianjin. The hospital was founded in 1942, formerly known as the Tianhe Hospital, and later merged with the China Textile Hospital, Post and Telecommunications Hospital, and Enlight Hospital, and was renamed "Tianjin First Central Hospital" in 1956.
