Casters generally include movable casters, fixed casters and movable casters with brake. Movable casters are also known as universal casters, which have a structure that allows 360-degree rotation; fixed casters are also called directional casters, which do not have a rotating structure and cannot be rotated.

Method classification

Directional wheel: used for linear movement, only the caster wheel can rotate, and caster wheel horizontal rotation direction is fixed, universal wheel: that is, the common activity caster, in addition to wheels can be rotated, and caster wheel bracket using steel ball plate or bearing way to connect, can be in the horizontal direction of 360-degree Rotation.

These two kinds of casters are generally used in conjunction with, for example, the structure of the cart is the front of the two fixed wheels, the back of the handrail near the promotion of the two movable casters.

There are brake casters: including directional brake casters, universal brake casters; at the same time, the casters brake is also diversified to meet the different environments and places, such as the side brake casters or positive brake casters, while the side brake casters include brake wheel hub of the axle brake casters, brake wheel surface brake casters, and full brake brake casters.

Similarly, positive brake casters include brake casters that only brake the wheel face, or brake casters that only brake the swivel top plate, or full brake casters. No brake casters: as the name suggests, these casters, do not have any locking mechanism installed on the brake casters.
