Which electrodes are used to measure the first, second and third leads of the cardiac monitor?

Placement of the electrodes of the ECG monitor: the first lead is located in the 4th intercostal space at the right edge of the sternum; the second lead is located in the 4th intercostal space at the left edge of the sternum; the third lead is located in the midpoint of the line connecting the two points of V2 and V4.

Electrocardiographic monitoring electrode connection order: electrode connection line connected to the above marked with the letters of the alphabet

1, right upper (RA): the right edge of the sternum clavicle midline between the first rib.

2. Right lower (RL): right midclavicular line at the level of the xiphoid process.

3. Center (C): fourth intercostal space at the left edge of the sternum.

4. Left upper (LA): first intercostal space in the midclavicular line at the left edge of the sternum.

5. Left lower (LL): left midclavicular line at the level of the xiphoid process.

Expanded information:

Application of electrocardiographic monitors:

1, Coronary heart disease patients;

2, hypertensive patients;

3, diabetic patients;

4, hyperlipidemic patients;

5, excessive obesity crowd;

Operating points:

First of all the skin should be kept clean, dry, and the electrode patches with abrasive paper need to be placed on the location (right clavicle at the point where the fifth rib on the left and the left axillary). The skin keratin layer of the location where the electrode patch needs to be placed (one finger below the right clavicle, the intersection of the left fifth rib and the left axilla, and the midpoint of the connection between the two nipples) should be wiped clean with abrasive paper. Rinse well with water and dry with paper or leave to dry naturally.

Remove the electrode patch and wipe the site with the electrode patch sticker. Remove the lead wires, snap the 3 electrode lead wires into the ECG electrode patch, place the red electrode at one finger below the right clavicle; place the yellow electrode at the midpoint of the two nipples; and place the black electrode at the intersection of the left fifth rib and the left anterior axillary line.

Finally, the other end of the ECG leadwire is inserted into the monitoring device in the direction of the arrow. Turn on the monitoring device to carry out ECG monitoring.
