Selection skills of silicon wire
First, use your eyes. See if there is a quality system certificate; Second, see if the certificate is standardized; Third, whether there is a factory name, address, inspection seal and production date; Fourth, see if the wire is printed with product details such as trademarks, specifications and voltages.
Second, distinguish copper. Usually, the copper core of qualified wires should be purple, shiny and soft to the touch. The fake copper wire core is purple-black, yellow or white, with many impurities, poor mechanical strength and toughness, and it will break with a little force, even often. When checking, just peel off one end of the wire by 2cm, and then gently rub it on the copper core with a piece of white paper. If there is a black substance on the white paper, it means that there are many impurities in the copper core.
Third, weigh. High quality welding wire is usually within the specified weight range. Here are several sets of data for your reference. 1. The length of wire and cable is not enough. Wire and cable products are generally cut and packaged according to the standard of each bundle 100 m, and the common specifications range from 0.3mm2 to 10mm2. The length of each bundle of wires and cables in the market is less than 100 meter. Some manufacturers will indicate the deviation on the packaging.
2. All the product manuals are small. In order to get more profits, many manufacturers hide the actual specifications of wires and cables on the product labels and mark larger specifications of wires and cables. Many consumers don't understand the safety knowledge and regulations of wire and cable use. For example, 2.5mm2 wire and cable are labeled as 4mm2 wire and cable, and 1.5mm2 wire and cable are labeled as 2.5mm2 wire and cable. In this way, buyers will be very dangerous to use. For example, the specification of the wire and cable for controlling the air-conditioning power supply is 6mm2, but the actual specification of the wire and cable buried in the wall is 2.5mm2, which will easily lead to the overload of the copper wire in the plastic packaging skin of the wire and cable, melt the plastic skin, cause short circuit of the wire and cable, and even cause fire.
