Organ donation to enjoy what treatment

Organ donation is generally gratuitous, but the actual situation may be given a certain humanitarian aid economic compensation, such as hospitalization medical fee waiver, the donor's family medical insurance, hardship assistance, tuition fee concessions, tax exemptions, including mortuary expenses can be taken into account.

Donation process: the local Red Cross registration. District cities, counties (cities, districts) Red Cross should be registered within three days to the provincial Red Cross. (b) If there is no spouse, the parents or adult children and two physicians' written certification.

(c) If there is no spouse, parent or adult child, there are two other close relatives and a written certificate from two physicians.

(d) If there is no close relative, there is a written certificate from the workplace or residential (village) committee, nursing home, or other organization in the place of residence, as well as from two physicians.

Organ donation is when a person is diagnosed with brain death and can only rely on a ventilator and medication to maintain vital signs, based on the individual's wishes during his or her lifetime or the consent of his or her family, donating his or her organs to dying patients awaiting transplants in a free-of-charge manner so that their lives can continue. Adults in good health can also donate one of their kidneys or part of their liver to a relative or spouse.

Legal basis: Article 11 of the Regulations on Human Organ Transplantation stipulates that medical institutions engaging in human organ transplantation shall, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions, apply to the competent department of health of the people's government of the province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government for registration of human organ transplantation diagnostic and therapeutic subjects.

Medical institutions engaged in human organ transplantation, shall have the following conditions:

(a) with the engagement of human organ transplantation appropriate licensed physicians and other medical personnel;?

(ii) have equipment and facilities that meet the needs of human organ transplantation;?

(c) there is a clinical application of human organ transplantation technology and ethics committee composed of experts in medicine, jurisprudence, ethics, etc., in which medical experts engaged in human organ transplants do not exceed 1/4 of the number of members;?

(d) There is a sound management system for quality control and other aspects of human organ transplantation.
