The difference between Teflon and PTFE

Different properties and different uses.

1. Different properties: Teflon is a composite material made of polytetrafluoroethylene as the base resin and added with glass fiber and other materials; polytetrafluoroethylene is a polymer material , does not contain fillers such as fiberglass.

2. Different uses: Teflon is more suitable for equipment parts in high temperature, high pressure, and strong corrosive environments, such as chemical industry, petroleum and other fields; PTFE is more suitable for lubrication and sealing of mechanical parts and other fields.
