Zhaoqing is a national historical and cultural city. From the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, Zhaoqing has become the political, economic and cultural center of Lingnan many times. Meanwhile, Fengkai (anciently known as Guangxin) of Zhaoqing is the birthplace of Guangfu culture and Cantonese language, and Zhaoqing is also the earliest meeting place of Central Plains and Lingnan cultures, and Western and traditional Chinese cultures.
