Overload or seizure: If the motor is overloaded or the motor bearing is seized, it will cause the motor controller to continuously output current, which will overheat the motor, and it will also easily lead to the phenomenon of out-of-step and motor non-rotation.
Driving circuit problem: unreasonable design of driving circuit or unstable driving voltage will lead to motor heating and affect its normal operation.
Poor heat dissipation of motor shell: Working in high temperature environment for a long time, poor heat dissipation of motor will lead to high temperature of motor and easy damage to motor.
The stepping motor generates serious heat: due to its working principle, the stepping motor itself will generate some heat. However, if the motor has a serious fever, it may be that there is something wrong with the internal winding or iron core of the motor and it needs to be checked and repaired.
In order to solve this problem, the following measures can be taken:
Check the load: ensure that the motor load is within the normal range and avoid overload or underload. At the same time, check whether the motor bearing is normal, and replace it in time if it is abnormal.
Check the drive circuit: ensure that the drive circuit is designed reasonably and the drive voltage is stable. If there is something wrong with the drive circuit, it needs to be repaired or replaced in time.
Optimize heat dissipation: Ensure the motor housing has good heat dissipation conditions, and heat dissipation devices such as heat sinks or fans can be installed on the motor housing to help the motor dissipate heat quickly.
Check the motor: If the motor has serious fever or other abnormal conditions, it needs to be checked, repaired or replaced in time.
