Huzhou, named after the lake, is one of the main water sources in the upper reaches of Taihu Lake. Therefore, the water quality in Huzhou has a great influence. Nowadays, the water pollution in Huzhou is obvious to Huzhou people.
My home is located next to the "Mother River". As soon as you walk to the window of Linjiang, you can see a large area of green aquatic plants floating on Mother River, some of which may be microorganisms. In short, that kind of green is unnatural and uncomfortable to look at, so I judge this phenomenon through junior high school knowledge that it should be a "water bloom" phenomenon caused by eutrophication pollution of water bodies. In addition to these plants and microorganisms, we can also see large-scale domestic garbage floating on the river from time to time. Needless to say, those small-scale garbage can be seen all the time. Except for the serious situation on Mother River, as long as you look into the river carefully, you will find that the water is very dark and surprisingly deep. When you meet such a river, I think no matter who it is, you will guess its reason.
(1) Excessive application of chemical fertilizers will make the soil contain too much nitrogen and phosphorus, which will flow with the water to other water bodies. In addition, people use a large number of chemical products such as phosphorus-containing detergents, which will greatly increase the content of nitrogen and phosphorus in rivers and lakes (it is estimated that the current industrial nitrogen fixation on the earth is 1 times that of natural biological nitrogen fixation). The abundant nutrients in the water make algae multiply so much that there will be "water bloom" in fresh water and "red tide" in the ocean. When these algae die, a large amount of dissolved oxygen is consumed by bacteria to decompose these organic substances, thus making a large number of organisms (such as fish, mollusks and so on. The water that needs oxygen will die. At this time, the water will turn black and stink, and the water quality will deteriorate seriously.
(2) I have seen residents living nearby pour all kinds of domestic garbage into the river several times, and even throw plastic foam into the river. Besides, I also saw residents across the river cleaning toilets or brushing their teeth in the river. You may think that brushing your teeth is a trivial matter, but the accumulated brushing water will also pollute the river! However, the most incredible thing is that there are people washing clothes in such dirty water. However, these behaviors are not puzzling. It is probably a manifestation of the dark side of human morality. It can be seen that a large part of Huzhou citizens are very lacking in moral quality. However, I really don't understand that the pollution of rivers is not good for the surrounding residents. The surrounding residents actually watched the water quality of the mother river deteriorate day by day, but they still didn't stop polluting the river! This really failed the hard work of sanitation workers and defiled the word "mother river".
(3) According to the information on the Internet, typhoons can also cause water pollution: the rainstorm brought by "Mai Sha" has caused water pollution in some urban catchments, affected the domestic water consumption of nearby residents, caused the blockage of nearby underground waterways, and there is also the phenomenon of backward flow of polluted water. These waters are easily polluted by infectious bacteria such as bacteria and Escherichia coli. Once residents drink it, it will cause diarrhea, typhoid fever, dysentery and other intestinal diseases.
The above three points are the possible causes of water pollution in Huzhou.
In Huzhou, due to the rapid development of township industry, a large number of mining and stone washing, coupled with agricultural non-point source pollution (also known as non-point pollution sources, mainly refers to the runoff formed by rural irrigation water, rural unorganized wastewater, surface runoff and other wastewater and sewage. A small amount of scattered sewage can also be classified as non-point source pollution), and the water flowing into Taihu Lake belongs to three types of water bodies all the year round (Class III water bodies: centralized drinking water source secondary protection zone, first-class fish protection zone, swimming zone, etc.). ) Gradually, even the drinking water quality of Huzhou named after the lake is not optimistic. Because of the unreasonable position of water intakes in most water plants, the scope of water source protection areas is not clearly defined and the management is not standardized, which is easy to cause water source environmental pollution.
There are two waterworks in Huzhou, the water intake of Chengbei Waterworks, where farmers litter and often pollute the water quality; The water source protection area of Chengxi Waterworks is located on the main channel, which is often polluted by boat people's life and fuel oil. There is actually an old ship trading dock in the protection area. In Nanxun, a famous town in the south of the Yangtze River, not only the raw water of its waterworks is often four kinds of water bodies (ⅳ kinds of water bodies: industrial waters and recreational waters where human bodies are not in direct contact), but what is even more worrying is that the waterworks are close to the hospitals in the town and are vulnerable to the threat of medical wastewater. It turns out that Huzhou has benefited from the erosion of Xitiao River, and the quality of drinking water has been very good. However, the current situation is worrying.
At the beginning of 2006, a storm caused by the discharge of chemicals into the tap water source occurred in Huzhou, which caused panic among the citizens of the city at that time, but thanks to the decisive handling of this public crisis by the government.
This pollution incident occurred in February 10. On the same day, Huzhou Hydrological Station collected water samples from Yangjiabu and Chengbei Bridge in Huzhou. The staff was surprised to find that the phenol in the water sample seriously exceeded the standard. Huzhou Hydrological Station immediately reported to the municipal government. After Huzhou Environmental Protection Bureau received an urgent call from Huzhou Municipal Government, the environmental monitoring brigade and the accident investigation team immediately rushed to the scene that night. When the collected water samples were tested and treated, it was found that the volatile phenol in the sewage discharged by Huzhou Hongou New Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. was abnormal. After testing by Huzhou Environmental Protection Department, the concentration of volatile phenol in the sewage discharged by Hongou Company seriously exceeded the standard, and the concentration of volatile phenol in the sewage outlet was as high as 172mg/L, which was 85 times higher than the standard. The concentration of volatile phenol in the rainwater well at the entrance of resin workshop of Hongou Company is as high as 89.8mg/L, which exceeds the standard 17959 times. The sewage pipe network near Hongou Company is affected by the sewage discharged by the company. The concentration of volatile phenol in the sewage well at the intersection of Cai Feng Road and Licun Road is as high as 186mg/L, which is 92 times higher than the standard. The concentration of volatile phenol in the rainwater pipeline near Hongou Company also seriously exceeded the standard. Most of the monitored rainwater wells exceeded the standard by hundreds to thousands, and some of them reached tens of thousands. Among them, the concentration of volatile phenol in the rainwater well of Jixian Road reached 270mg/L at noon on February 12, exceeding the standard by more than 50,000 times. Such serious volatile phenol pollution (belonging to volatile phenols, phenol and its compounds are toxic substances, and high concentration of phenol and its compounds can cause acute poisoning, even coma and death), if it is not found and handled by relevant institutions in time, the consequences will be unimaginable.
Not only water pollution, but also pollution in various ways. Only by relying on everyone's good environmental awareness can we reproduce the beautiful scenery of Huzhou in the past!
Related suggestions:
Government: 1. Strengthen the standardized management of water intake, and strictly enforce the system of water intake permit and paid water use. Any unit or individual who needs to take water directly from rivers, lakes or underground must apply to the relevant departments in accordance with the regulations, obtain permission before taking water, and ask them to pay the water fee according to law, take water in strict accordance with the regulations, and shall not waste water resources.
2 widely publicize the importance of protecting water resources, carry out publicity and education on water resources through various media, and enhance the awareness of saving and protecting water resources in the whole society.
3. Strengthen the construction of water conservancy projects, take effective measures to improve the ecological environment and improve the utilization rate of water resources.
4. Strengthen law enforcement, maintain the normal development and utilization of water resources, and intensify the crackdown on wanton waste and exploitation of water resources.
Resident: 1. Use phosphorus-free detergent;
2. Use chemicals as little as possible;
Don't pour the domestic garbage into the river.

Conclusion:
At present, the situation of water pollution in Wuxing District is grim. The government must strengthen the management, protection and supervision system of water quality, residents must regulate their own behavior, enterprises are proud of protecting water resources, and everyone is ashamed of wasting and polluting water resources. Water-the source of life, everyone has the responsibility to protect and save water resources. Without it, not only we, but all living things on the earth will cease to exist. Water is so important, but it is not inexhaustible. Need everyone to cherish.
