Conducted research on socio-economic evaluation of chronic diseases and optimal allocation of health resources earlier in China, and was the first to introduce the ARIMA model and the neural network model (ANN) into the research of health policy and management, and systematically researched the short-, medium-, and long-term trends of China's total health costs. It was the first time in China to systematically study the demand, supply and allocation of large medical equipment, and put forward a complete framework and model for measuring the allocation of large medical equipment. For the first time in China, the quantitative analysis method was used to study the issues of induced demand and moralhazard in health services, and the international common method was revised and improved. A new model for evaluating the fairness of resource allocation was constructed, which enriched and developed the international research methods on fairness. Introduced the Probit model into the field of health policy research for the first time in China. He was the first in China to propose the access requirements and quantitative model for the allocation of large-scale medical equipment to medical institutions, conducted modeling research on the factors related to the allocation of large-scale medical equipment, and completed the revision of the national measures for the management of large-scale medical equipment. He has presided over the completion of the study on the allocation standards for health resources in Beijing and the national planning for large-scale medical equipment.
