2006 marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Toray Group. As the Toray Group continues to adapt itself to a rapidly changing world, it is convinced that a stronger management foundation and continuous innovation are increasingly essential to the realization of sustainable growth.
The purpose of our new initiatives, programs, and policies is to "innovate" in order to promote the dynamic development and sustainable growth of our company. These ambitions have been incorporated into a new long-term vision plan, AP-Innovation TORAY 21, which was launched in April 2006 to "promote chemistry for sustainable growth".
