According to the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and the Regulations on the Emergency Response to Public **** Health Emergencies, all types of medical and healthcare institutions at all levels should set up a system of reporting infectious diseases, report cases of infectious diseases found in a timely manner, and keep the relevant report cards and reporting records. The Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases stipulates that records of infectious disease reports shall be kept for a long time and shall not be destroyed; and the Regulations on Emergency Response to Public **** Health Emergencies stipulate that local people's governments at or above the county level are responsible for stockpiling the medicines, medical equipment, ambulance equipment, protective supplies and other materials required to cause outbreaks and epidemics of infectious diseases, and for keeping stockpiles of such materials in order to be ready for call-ups. Infectious disease report cards and records of infectious disease reports from all types of medical and health organizations at all levels should be kept permanently.
