FMEA tools are the five tools of quality management, also known as the five tools of quality control.
Including:
1, Statistical Process Control (SPC, Statistical Process Control);
2, Measurement System Analysis (MSA, Measurement System Analyse);
3, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA, Failure Mode & Effect Analyse);
4, Product Quality Advance Planning (APQP, Advanced Product Quality Planning);
5, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP, Production Part Approval Process).
Purpose
To make a reliable and valid assessment of the process;
To determine the statistical control limits of the process, to determine whether the process is out of control and whether the process is capable;
To provide the process with an early warning system, timely monitoring of the process in order to prevent the occurrence of rejects;
To reduce the reliance on routine inspections, timed observations and systematic measurement methods replace a large amount of testing and validation work
