According to the Catalogue of Diagnosis and Treatment Subjects of Medical Institutions (Wei [1994] No.27), the general medicine department is a first-class diagnosis and treatment subject, and its specific diagnosis and treatment scope should refer to the scope of "basic medical services provided by community health service institutions" stipulated in Article 7 of the Administrative Measures for Urban Community Health Service Institutions (Trial) (Wei Fu She Fa [2006] No.239). Medical institutions approved for registration are only general diagnosis and treatment subjects, but they have set up diagnosis and treatment subjects such as surgery, gynecology and stomatology, which are beyond the scope of practice, and shall be given administrative punishment in accordance with the provisions of Article 47 of the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions.
Among them, Article 7 of the Administrative Measures for Urban Community Health Service Institutions (Trial) stipulates that community health service institutions provide the following basic medical services:
(a) the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases, with clear diagnosis of nursing and treatment of chronic diseases.
(2) Community on-site emergency rescue.
(three) home visits, home care, family beds and other family medical services.
(4) Referral service.
(5) Rehabilitation medical services.
(six) other appropriate medical services approved by the administrative department of health of the government.
