Positive infected people should not go out during the recovery period at home and refuse all visits. People living with the patient should do a good job of personal protection and comply with the requirements of home isolation and rehabilitation management.
Positively infected people live alone in well-ventilated rooms. Clothes, bed sheets, towels and other supplies are stored and washed separately from others. Separate tableware is used. The rooms are equipped with personal protective equipment such as thermometers, tissues, masks, disposable gloves, disinfectants and other anti-epidemic materials such as disinfectant products and garbage cans with lids.
Positively infected persons entering the public **** area of the home should be regulated to wear N95 masks. Co-occupants in contact with positively infected persons, or when handling their pollutants and contaminated surfaces, should do a good job of self-protection, wear N95 masks, disposable gloves, and keep a distance of more than 1 meter from them, and do a good job of hand hygiene.
Rooms should be closed and windows should be opened independently for ventilation, and rooms should be ventilated at least once a day in the morning and once in the afternoon, for more than 30 minutes each time. The central air conditioner should be closed back to the air, in accordance with the full fresh air mode of operation. The bathroom should be strengthened by opening the window for ventilation, or turning on the exhaust equipment for ventilation. Room wet cleaning at least 1 time a day.
The bathroom needs to be cleaned and disinfected daily. When flushing the toilet, cover the toilet lid before flushing. Wet and dry floor drains in the bathroom and kitchen need to be filled with water regularly every day, and after filling with water, cover the lid and then press the floor drain with a plastic bag filled with water, or use silicone mats and other sealing.
Living garbage should be properly disposed of. Every time you clean up the garbage, use a double plastic bag and tie it tightly to avoid spillage, and disinfect its outer surface and sealing, then put the garbage to the designated location in the community by the co-inhabitants wearing N95 masks and latex gloves.
Do not order delivery except for necessities and medicines. Adopt a non-contact approach when receiving courier and takeaway, standardize the wearing of N95 masks and disposable gloves when opening the door, and practice good hand hygiene before and after opening the door.
Self-health management
Patients with the Omicron variant strain are mainly asymptomatic infections and mild cases, most of which do not require much treatment, and the general patients can be observed at home for treatment, attention to bed rest, strengthen supportive treatment, and ensure adequate energy and nutritional intake. Pay attention to water and electrolyte balance and maintain the stability of the internal environment. If you have any health problems, you can seek help from your local community health service organization.
Positively infected persons and people living with them should monitor their body temperature and changes in their condition on a daily basis, and when symptoms of respiratory infection or pre-existing underlying diseases worsen significantly, they should be treated according to their condition or seek medical attention in a timely manner.

Maintain mental health, reduce anxiety, fear, tension and irritability. Maintain a regular daily routine and recreation to improve immunity. Common symptoms of positively infected people include fever, dry cough, fatigue, loss of smell and taste, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, myalgia and diarrhea. According to the clinical experience of experts, the course of illness of the average young and middle-aged patients infected with the new coronavirus is about 7 days, and those who have received the new coronavirus vaccine and completed the booster immunization have a shorter and milder course of illness. Some older people, especially those over 70 years of age with underlying medical conditions, have a more complicated course.
In the opinion of clinical experts, most viral infections are treated symptomatically, and drugs are mainly used to relieve symptoms, so it is recommended that they be used in the early stages of symptoms.
