The Department of Mechanical Design and Automation is a discipline direction of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation undergraduate focus, with 17 teachers. Harbin Institute of Technology Industrial Design was founded in 1987, is the earliest one of the institutions to establish the program. The Department of Graphics and Digital Media has a history of 53 years, accompanying the growth and development of the university.
