FIP and FIP stamp exhibition
The International Philatelic Federation ("FIP" for short, the emblem is FIP, and the number is 1) was established in June, 1926 in Paris, France. It is a global philatelic organization composed of national or regional philatelic organizations and a permanent non-profit organization. Its registered office is located in Zurich, Switzerland, with 95 full members. The purpose of FIP is: to promote the all-round development of stamp collecting in the international field; Promote peace and friendship among people of all countries, establish friendly relations and maintain close cooperation among stamp collectors all over the world; Guide and manage various philatelic activities; Establish and maintain close contact with postal authorities of various countries and national and international organizations.

World or international stamp exhibitions sponsored and praised by FIP must abide by the various regulations of FIP. FIP also supports other types of stamp exhibitions. According to the later revised FIP articles of association, FIP sponsorship is only applicable to the world stamp exhibition, and all members can participate, so it is also called "FIP stamp exhibition". FIP reputation assistance is applicable to international stamp exhibitions and is limited to members of the Intercontinental Philatelic Federation or the Regional Philatelic Federation.
FIP Stamp Exhibition is the world's highest-level competitive exhibition organized by FIP to promote the development of world philatelic. It is a global cultural activity deeply loved and concerned by people, so it is known as "Philatelic Olympics".

FIP is very concerned about young people collecting stamps. 1930 when the 15 competition-level exhibits were determined, the category of "youth stamp collecting" was already included (at that time, it was divided into two categories: 15 and 15-20. After World War II, FIP set up a special youth philately education committee. 1962 FIP Prague parliament approved the special rules for the evaluation of young people's stamp collecting, which will be implemented from the following year. FIP held the first championship stamp exhibition in Singapore in 2004 (Figure 13. Many host countries specially set up "FIP Day" theme days during the World Postal Exhibition and the International Postal Exhibition, and issued commemorative stamps, souvenir covers or souvenir covers.
