Conditions for Establishing a Medical Institution

Legal Basis: Article 39 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Practicing Physicians stipulates: "If a medical institution is opened to practice medicine without approval or if a non-physician is practicing medicine, the health administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level shall prohibit the practice of medicine, confiscate the proceeds of the offense and its medicines and devices, and impose a fine of 100,000 yuan and impose a fine of less than 100,000 yuan."
