Can medical waste supervision units sign an agreement with medical waste disposal units?

Yes. There are 580 registered medical and health institutions, including 556 institutions that generate medical waste. All of them should sign agreements with centralized medical waste disposal units. As of November 2017, there were 42 first-class hospitals and above, with a contract signing rate of 98%; only 17% of small health institutions below first-class hospitals had signed contracts, and there were problems such as medical waste being mixed with domestic garbage or illegally disposed of.
