In Ruijin Hospital Oncology (Proton) Center, Ma Chunlei listened to the development and installation of the first domestic proton therapy demonstration device and the construction of Ruijin Hospital Oncology (Proton) Center.
At present, the first domestic proton therapy demonstration device, has basically completed the development and installation of key gas pedal equipment, and basically completed the development and integration of the treatment software system, which is expected to be completed and start clinical trials in 2018.
The whole device includes proton gas pedal, beam transport line, fixed treatment room, rotating treatment room, eye beam treatment room, laboratory and so on. The self-developed rotating rack is another important equipment of the device, which is the first of its kind in China, and is designed to operate with an accuracy of 0.5 millimeters.
Ruijin Hospital Oncology (Proton) Center is located in the core area of Jiading New City (East to Ima Road, South to Ding Shan Road, West to Cooperation Road, North to Shuang Ding Road), with a total floor area of 26,370 square meters, which will integrate oncology proton clinical medical treatment, teaching, research, training and other functions.
