How to deal with sudden electric shock during operation

In case of sudden electric shock during operation, rescue should be carried out in three steps: cutting off the power, insulating the victim, and notifying the emergency team.

1. Power outage.

When an electric shock accident occurs on site, the first thing to do is to disconnect the power supply, but the first thing to do is to disconnect the power supply quickly, and the second thing to do is to use the appropriate method. First, find out whether it is a high-voltage electric shock or a low-voltage electric shock. If there is a high-voltage electric shock, the following methods can be used to remove the electric shock victim from the power supply. The external liaison team will immediately notify the relevant departments to cut off the power.

2. Insulate the victim.

If the victim's clothes are dry and not tightly wrapped around the body, you can use one hand to grab his clothes and pull them away from the power source. However, because the victim is electrified, the insulation of his shoes may also be damaged. To damage the electrocuted person, the rescuer must not touch the electrocuted person's skin or grab his shoes.

3. Contact the emergency team.

When an electric shock accident occurs, the on-site emergency response organization rushes to the scene immediately. The person in charge (commander) arranges the aftermath team to take photos or videos of the scene, and arranges the rescue team (group) to follow the above plan. When conducting on-site rescue operations, you must first draw marks or take photos and videos of equipment or facilities that need to be moved to rescue people or prevent the accident from expanding.

Arrange the front-line external liaison team to immediately report the accident to the company's emergency response headquarters, and the medical first aid team will treat the electrocuted person.

Emergency medical first aid measures:

After the electrocuted person is disconnected from the power supply:

The medical rescue team will provide prompt and symptomatic rescue according to the specific situation of the electrocuted person. The main rescue methods used are artificial respiration and external chest heart compression. Those who receive electric shock shall be dealt with according to the following two situations respectively.

If the person who was electrocuted was not seriously injured:

The person who was electrocuted was conscious but a little flustered, his limbs were numb, and his whole body was weak, or the person who was electrocuted was unconscious for a while during the electrocution process, but has regained consciousness. During the congratulatory banquet, the person who was electrocuted should be allowed to rest quietly, not to move around, and have a doctor come for treatment or be sent to the hospital.

If the person who gets an electric shock is seriously injured:

He has lost consciousness, but his heart is still beating and breathing. The person who got the electric shock should lie down comfortably and quietly, and do not surround him with people. Allow air to circulate, open his clothes to facilitate breathing, and keep warm if the weather is cold. Immediately report to 120 emergency center or send to hospital.

If you find that the person who was electrocuted has difficulty breathing, is weak, or has convulsions, you should be ready to perform further rescue immediately when the heartbeat or breathing stops.
