Infrastructure

The Institute occupies an area of 7,400 square meters, with a floor area of 7,450 square meters.2003-2005 Construction of research, outpatient and ward complexes. In 2008, it built a preparation room for Mongolian medicines according to the national GPP standard, producing more than 100 kinds of proprietary Mongolian medicines with an annual production capacity of over 3,000 kilograms.

Ward treatment area

Orthopaedic first treatment area, orthopaedic second treatment area, nephropathy treatment area, comprehensive treatment area and external, gynecological treatment area and traditional treatment rehabilitation center. Based on the principle of focusing on the research of Mongolian medicine and the parallel promotion of scientific research and medical treatment, it utilizes the combination of traditional medical theories and modern science to carry out documentary research, clinical research and research on Mongolian medicines.

Inheriting, excavating, collecting and organizing 12 types of ancient medical books written in Mongolian, Tibetan, Chinese, Uygur and Manchu scripts, 184 types and 545 volumes, translating and publishing more than 10 classical works such as "Somaransa", "Secret of Medical Know-how" and "Famous Collection of Artillery", undertaking and completing the "New Medicine of Mongolian Medicine" issued by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Science and Technology Commission of the Autonomous Region. It has undertaken and completed more than 20 scientific research projects, such as "Research on the new drug of Mongolian medicines", "Chinese Materia Medica - Special Volume of Mongolian Medicines", "Research on the change of the dispersing agent of Mongolian medicine Habdren-9 to hard paste", "Research on the treatment of atrophic gastritis by Mongolian medicines", etc. More than 10 of them have won the awards of autonomous regions, municipalities and cities respectively. More than 10 of them were awarded the first, second and third prizes for scientific and technological progress at the regional and municipal levels respectively.

Mongolian Medicine Ula Moxibustion Therapy has been approved as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and has been declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of National Level.

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Health issued "the clinical research on the treatment of reflux gastroesophagitis of Mongolian medicine Zhuangxi gray agent" scientific research topics are in the research stage. Inside and outside the autonomous region of the kidney disease specialties, Mongolian traditional osteopathic specialties each year to receive nearly 10,000 patients from home and abroad. Other departments also have their own specialties.

Every year, the outpatient clinic receives more than 30,000 patients, hospitalized about 2,000 times. The rate of hospitalized medical records of Grade A is over 98%. The rate of outpatient and ward Mongolian herbal medicine treatment reaches 70% and 60% respectively. The diagnosis compliance rate of admission and discharge is over 95%.
