Heat stroke, also known as pyrexia, is a fatal emergency characterized by high temperatures and impaired consciousness. The onset of the disease is often preceded by headache, dizziness and weakness. The organs affected early on are the brain, liver, kidneys and heart in that order. Depending on the state the patient is in at the time of onset and the pathogenesis, there are two clinical types: exertional and non-exertional (or typical) pyrexia. Exertional is mainly endogenous overproduction of heat in a high-temperature environment; non-exertional is mainly reduced heat dissipation due to dysfunction of thermoregulation in a high-temperature environment.
Life insurance, health medical insurance can provide death claims
Because of the death of pyrexia, the general life insurance can provide claims. Because death is a life insurance product "must be compensated for", for life insurance, the coverage period of the natural death, or due to disease, accident caused by death are within the scope of life insurance.
But deaths caused by pyrexia are not covered by accident insurance.
Thermophilia is not a major disease, so it is generally not covered by critical illness insurance. If pyrexia results in a major illness, such as severe kidney failure, severe brain damage, deep coma, etc., the major illness insurance should pay out according to the terms of the contract.
Health medical insurance, in addition to covering some major diseases, there are accidental injury coverage and accidental medical coverage, and pyrexia falls into the category of accidental injury and medical treatment.
