The Immunoassay Analyzer is a medical testing instrument that performs immunoassay of the human body by testing patient serum.
A quantitative amount of patient serum and horseradish peroxides (HRP) is added to a white opaque microtiter plate coated with an antibody in a solid phase, and the molecules to be measured in the serum bind specifically to the horseradish peroxidase conjugate and to the antibody on the solid phase carrier.
The unreacted free components are separated and washed, and then, the luminal luminescent substrate is added , and the intermediate is excited using the free energy released by the chemical reaction to return from the ground state to the excited state, where the energy is released in the form of photons.
At this point, the microplate is placed into the analyzer, and the number of photons in each well is read out sequentially by the photon counter through the three-dimensional drive system inside the instrument.
