How many steps are there in customs declaration?

This summary will be based on each column in the customs declaration;

I: the header part of the customs declaration.

The 30 columns involved in the header part of the customs declaration can be divided into three parts to understand:

(1) Known information related to cargo transportation and packaging

N Including: port of import and export, mode of transport, name of means of transport, bill of lading number, country of origin/arrival, port of loading/destination, number of packages, package type, gross weight, net weight, container number, shipping mark and remarks. These columns can be filled in according to the information provided in the packing list and bill of lading.

(2) Known information related to the requirements of goods trading and customs clearance management.

N Among them, the business unit, (export) settlement method, transaction method and contract agreement number can be found according to the invoice; Record number, import/export date, declaration date, receiving/shipping unit, license number, domestic destination/domestic supply, approval number, attached documents, (export) manufacturer and some matters needing attention are directly reported as known information when filling in the form.

(three) according to the requirements of customs clearance management, the contents of the report should be independently judged.

N Including: mode of trade, duty-free nature, tax rate (import), use (import) and some remarks. These columns cannot be found directly from the above known information, and the filling personnel must make their own judgments according to the requirements of customs clearance management.

Second: the main body of the customs declaration.

N The columns such as commodity name, specification, quantity and unit, unit price, total price, monetary system, country of origin/final destination reflect the specific situation of the declared commodity, and can be filled in according to the information provided by the invoice;

Items such as item number n, commodity number and tax exemption (method) cannot be found in the original documents, and the filling personnel must make their own judgments according to the requirements of customs clearance management.

Three. The following is a detailed description of the specific declaration methods and specific precautions:

(1): import and export port

N refers to the customs name of the goods actually entering or leaving the country.

N This column should fill in the corresponding port customs name and code in the Customs Area Code Table according to the actual port customs where the goods enter and leave the customs area.

Note: 1. The name of the port customs in this column should be the name of the customs to which it belongs, and the last two digits should not be 00.

2. Processing trade goods: If the name and code of the customs at the import and export port limited or designated by the goods are inconsistent with the actual port customs, the contract shall be filed and changed with the competent customs.

3. Import goods in transit: fill in the name and code of the customs at the place of entry. For transport goods exported by the customs, the name of the customs at the place of export shall be filled in.

4. Goods carried over from deep processing across customs areas under the supervision of re-export: fill in the customs name and code of the export declaration form. The name and code of the customs at the transshipment place shall be filled in the import declaration form.

5. For the goods transferred between different export processing zones, fill in the name and code of the customs of the other export processing zone.

6. If there is no actual entry or exit, fill in the name and code of the customs that accepts the goods declaration.

(ii) Record number:

Meaning: refers to the serial number of the processing trade registration manual, electronic account book, tax exemption certificate or other documents related to filing and approval when the import and export enterprises go through the filing or filing procedures of processing trade contracts with the customs.

The length is twelve bits, and 1 bit is the tag code. 2-5 is the customs area code of the declaration place. 6 is the year. 7- 12 is the serial number.
