Nameplates should be mounted to all switches, instruments, fuse holders, relays, etc. specified for internal and external contact located on the plate. Inclusion of equipment with standard nameplates should not be considered sufficient, and the number of calibrated ranges of service-described nameplate instruments and should be made by the Contractor.
The nameplate shall be not less than 16 mm thick stainless steel engraved with letters on a black and white background. The font should be commercial gothic and in capital letters (upper case). Letters should be 5 mm high with 28 letters or spaces for every 100 mm. Nameplates with two rusty should be resistant to machine screws. Any tool that is mounted on the front panel has a nameplate on the front and back of the instrument. The instrument nameplate on the mounting front panel will be engraved with the legend in English language. The nameplate should be above the instrument for easy reading. Deviations shall be approved by the approver. Nameplates on the rear instrumentation shall be inscribed with legends in English and Vietnamese. Each panel and enclosure shall also be equipped with a nameplate with legends in English before and after and in Vietnamese. A nameplate detailing the legend with the service shall be submitted to the owner for comment.
