Targeted. Leaders should use verbal language according to different occasions, different objects, different purposes, targeted selection of fascinating topics, language materials and ways of expression, in order to achieve the desired effect. Leaders speak in different situations on the verbal language expression is a different requirement, the use of language expression must meet the requirements of the specific scene, otherwise, it may make a joke.
Diversity. The specific methods of verbal language skills of leaders are diverse, such as humor, euphemism, implied method, fuzzy method and so on. Moreover, each specific method has a variety of types of use. The fuzzy method is divided into three types: broad, evasive and selective. The broad type is to convey the main message with broad and flexible verbal language; the evasive type is to avoid the definite content with unclear verbal language; and the selective type is to use selective verbal language to express uncertain behavior.
Appropriateness. In leadership activities, leaders often need to give advice or counsel to their interlocutors, and it is necessary to pay attention to the appropriateness of verbal language wording. Generally speaking, many leaders' suggestions or advice are more direct, often "should", "shouldn't", "to", "don't". "A kind of words, in the close relationship between people is even more so. But this is too arbitrary in the eyes of the people, but also too much lesson flavor. In order to create harmonious interpersonal relationships, leaders should be more tactful in their wording when advising or counseling the common people.
Emotionality. Emotions are the core pillar of audible language expression. The so-called "emotion" is a psychological reflection of whether the objective things in line with their own needs. Audible language is always accompanied by emotion. In the audible language expression, the sound depends on the support of the breath, the emotion is the power of the breath, and the gas moves with the emotion. Leader's verbal language should have a strong emotional, because the language does not have emotional does not have infectious and drum power. Leader's verbal language of emotional and ideological close combination, empty without content and thought of emotional language is not to impress the public. Emotional verbal language should be sincere, simple, avoid rendering and exaggeration.
Richness. The public attraction of the leader's verbal language has richness. (1) Vocabulary. The leader's verbal language should strive to use descriptive, expressive, accurate and vivid vocabulary, skillful use of professional vocabulary, idioms, colloquialisms, so as to stimulate the public's enthusiasm, arouse the public's imagination, and get the public's trust. (2) Rich sentence structure. In order to strengthen the effect of oral language expression, leaders should pay attention to the changes in the oral language of the sentence, available single sentence, can also be used for complex sentences; available statement sentence, can also be used for exclamatory sentences; can be staggered short and long sentences, can also be inverted, prepositioned. Syntax variations, sounds natural and harmonious. (3) Rhetorical richness. Leaders should master and use a variety of rhetorical methods to enhance the image of verbal language. Apt metaphor can inspire others to associate; appropriate questioning, rhetorical questions can cause suspense; the momentum of the smooth prose can stimulate the public emotional waves; timely repetition and emphasize to deepen the impression of others. (4) Rich rhythm. The rhythmic and undulating voice can give the public a beautiful enjoyment. When leaders talk to the public or make speeches, they should pay attention to the changes in volume, sound quality and timbre, sometimes slow and slow, sometimes high-pitched and exciting, sometimes pause and rest, sometimes a torrent, so as to move the public's thoughts and strike the public's heartstrings.
