Electroencephalography (EEG) signal acquisition equipment can not be sold without safety certification. According to the "supervision and management of medical devices regulations", medical device products should comply with the mandatory standards for medical devices; there is no mandatory national standards, should comply with the mandatory industry standards for medical devices. If the EEG signal acquisition device does not have safety certification, it means that the quality and safety of the device has not been tested and certified by authoritative organizations, and there is a greater safety risk. The sale of such a device may pose a threat to the health and safety of consumers. Therefore, if the EEG signal acquisition device has no safety certification, it is not allowed to sell.
