The first step: set the drawing properties.
On the setting of drawing properties, you can execute the menu command Design \ Options, the system will pop up the Document Options dialog box, and select the Sheet Options tab to set up, as shown below. Ensure that the value of Snapon under the Grids is set to 10, the value of Visible is set to 10, the value of Grid Range is set to 8, the value of Standard Style is set to A4, and the other default settings, and then click the "OK" button to confirm.
Second step: Add the component library file and delete the component library file from the system.
Use the mouse to click the BrowseSch tab in the Design Manager, and then click the Add/Remove button, the Change Library File List dialog box will appear as shown below.
Step 3: Place the components and position the layout.
Select the components to be placed, click the Place button, and then click the mouse to place the components on the desired location, you can complete the component placement steps, as shown in the following figure.
Note shortcut keys: use the left mouse button to hold down the component, and then press X, Y, space and other shortcut keys can be set to set the location of the component, how no response, please debug the input method to the English state.
Press this method to place other required components symbols, as shown below.
Step 4: Draw wires, set the attribute parameters with the components.
When all the circuit objects have been placed, it is time to proceed with the wiring between the objects in the circuit diagram. The primary purpose of wiring is to establish the actual connectivity of the network as required by the circuit design.
To carry out the wiring operation, you can click the circuit drawing toolbar on the "Draw Wire" button or the implementation of the menu command Place\ Wire, the editing state will be switched to the wiring mode, the shape of the mouse cursor at this time will be changed from a hollow arrow to a large cross. At this time only need to point the mouse cursor to one end of the component pins, click the left mouse button, there will be a can be moved with the mouse cursor pre-pull line, when the mouse cursor to move to the turn of the line, every click on the left mouse button can be positioned once the turn.
When dragging the dotted line to a component's pin and clicking the left mouse button, or double-clicking the left mouse button at any time, terminates the linkage. If you want to cut the editing state back to standby mode, you can click the right mouse button or press the Esc key to complete the step of drawing the wire, as shown in the following figure.
Step 5: ERC Check. Make sure there are no errors.
Execute the menu command: Tools\ERC, as shown below.
The "Electrical Rule Checking dialog box" pops up, as shown below.
Then tap the "OK" button to check and pop up the inspection report, as shown in the following figure.
Step 6: Generate a network table file.
The network table is a bridge between circuit schematic design (Sch) and printed circuit board design (PCB). Execute the menu command: Design\Create Netlist, as shown below.
The "Netlist Creation Dialog" pops up, as shown below. Then point "OK" button, the system automatically creates a network table, and pop-up "network table" file content, as shown below.
