Sichuan Modern Vocational College is a non-profit general higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and set up for the record by the Ministry of Education, one of the first private colleges and universities in Sichuan, and began to organize general higher vocational education in 2008, with a rich heritage of humanities.
The school is located in Chengdu, covering an area of 511.8 acres, with a beautiful environment and well-equipped facilities. There are more than 12,400 full-time students, more than 600 full-time and part-time teachers, with 26% of them holding senior positions and 60% of them having postgraduate degrees or above.
Focusing on the key industrial layout of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City, it has constructed 10 professional clusters of Electronic Information Engineering Technology, Big Data and Accounting, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, Digital Media Technology, Architectural Interior Design, Financial Services and Management, Furniture Design and Manufacturing, Legal Affairs, Travel Agency Operation and Management, and Biomedicine (Medical Devices). Now there are 38 majors, including 1 national backbone major, 3 provincial private key characteristic majors, and 2 provincial modern apprenticeship pilot majors.
The school took the lead in forming the "Shuangliu Southwest Airport Economic Development Zone Industrial Talent Training Alliance", established close cooperation with 13 industrial parks and 16 industry associations, and established four industrial (enterprise) colleges, such as "CLP Jinjiang".
