PS:
1. About the 475 visa
The 475 visa is a temporary residence visa. The guarantee can be a state guarantee or a relative guarantee, and the passing score is also 100 points. If you are sponsored by a relative, you can get 25 sponsorship points, but the prerequisite is that the Australian relative has settled in a remote area before submitting the visa application. If it is sponsored by the state government, you need to apply for sponsorship to the state participating in the visa. If approved, you can get 10 points for state sponsorship.
2. When is the latest time that IELTS can be submitted:
(1) The first step of career assessment takes 3-6 months (varies depending on the occupation). IELTS scores are not required at this stage (except for engineers, who must Achieve 6 points on each item before assessment).
(2) When submitting an immigration application, you do not need an IELTS score. Submit the application first to obtain a file number (if the immigration policy changes after obtaining the file number, it will not affect your application). You can then resubmit your IELTS scores separately. Generally, it is not too late to do so within half a year (except for 475 state guarantees, which must meet state requirements before assessment).
So, in addition to engineers/475 state guarantees, for applicants with a certain foundation in English, there is no need to wait until IELTS is completed before applying. In this way, you can get a higher age score, shorten the entire processing cycle, and avoid the risk of changes in immigration policies to the greatest extent.
So applicants can handle the career assessment and prepare for the IELTS test at the same time.
3. Do you need to attend an interview when applying for Australian skilled immigrants?
According to the new regulations, some applicants are required to be interviewed when applying for Australian skilled immigrants. Since it is a random draw, anyone has a chance to be selected, so you must Be mentally prepared for the interview; the interview is not scored and does not test English, but there is still a chance that you will be considered ineligible and your visa will be rejected. However, there are no reports of being called to the embassy for interviews so far, and there are many people who come to the embassy.
4. Do I need a certain amount of financial guarantee to apply for Australian skilled immigration?
The Australian independent skilled immigrant category does not require any financial guarantee at all, nor does it require any proof of capital deposit or landing fee; as for the skilled immigrant category sponsored by Australian relatives, it only requires income certificates from Australian relatives.
