Basic Information of Lu Jidong

He graduated from the Department of Power Engineering of Huazhong University of Technology in 1982. He received his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1985 and 1988, respectively. He stayed in the university as a teacher after graduation.

From January 1991 to January 1993, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Materials and Processes of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). After returning to China, he worked as an associate professor in the State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion.

In November 1994, he was appointed as professor and doctoral supervisor. He has been engaged in the theoretical research and technology development of coal combustion mechanism and process simulation, optimized design, operation and maintenance of thermal systems and equipment, combustion pollution control and solid waste treatment for many years.

Dominant research direction is clean energy conversion and system optimization.

The main areas include the following: 1, non-uniform gas-solid two-phase fluid dynamics with chemical reactions; 2, kinetic theory and simulation of complex thermal systems; 3, synergistic use of energy resources and the ecological environment of the theory and evaluation model; 4, optimization of the design, operation and maintenance of thermal systems and equipment; 5, laser diagnostics and intelligent control technology in the application of thermal system; 6, combustion Pollutant generation mechanism and comprehensive control;

7. Resourceful treatment of solid waste. He has won the second prize of National Natural Science once, and the first, second and third prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress. 1993, he was awarded the fourth Fok Ying-tung Young Teachers' Fund for Higher Education Institutions;
